“Syria Solidarity Movement” is led by known spies banned from entry to Syria!!
As we said for the last two years: there is
something very strange with many organisations that claim of working to support
Syria. In this article we will talk about one of these groups namely the spying
cell led by Vanessa Beeley and Eva Bartlett.
Spies Bartlett and Beeley admit to everyone
that the work of its group is managed by registered organisation in USA “Syria
Solidarity Movement”. Even the duo’s suspicious activities in Palestine between
2008-2013 were managed by organisation called “Free Palestine Movement”. Both
organisations (and many others) are managed by the parent organisation
registered in USA under “Association for Investment in Popular Action
Committees”, registered under EIN no. 20-5516191.
In this article, we will not talk
about the huge budget available to these organisations managed by the same
management committee. We will not also talk about the source of this huge
budget. We might talk about all these in future articles soon.
In this article we will talk about
the leadership of this organisations, namely what is related to its activities
in Syria.
We note from the official website of
the “Syria Solidarity Movement” that the organisation is led by “Steering
Committee” of 11 people.
We will discuss in this article two
members of this committee, who played active role in the work of this
organisation (and the parent organisation). Rick Sterling and Paul Larudee had
entered Syria several times on different occasions, before Syrian authorities
discovered the reality of their activities and banned them since the end of
2015.
We will not analyse why they were
banned or try to prove that they were actually banned. We have evidence that
both Sterling and Larudee are banned from entry to Syria. The evidences are not
coming from Syrian authorities’ sources. The spying cell members had admitted
that they are banned on several occasions.
One of the spying cell members,
Syrian Modar Ibraheem, had admitted in a post on his Facebook account on 20 May
2017 that Sterling is banned from entry to Syria.
Before that, an associate of these
spies admitted that they could not obtain visa to enter Syria. Andrew Ashdown
posted on 5 May 2017 that both Sterling and Larudee could not get visa to
Syria, as you can see from the attached screenshot.
The information we have from
documents and eyewitness accounts show very clearly that the ban is related to
the attempts by the duo to smuggle sensitive materials into Syria. This
includes telecommunication devices for spying, large sums of money and other
sensitive materials. We heard many accounts that they tried to smuggle weapons
and ammunitions from Lebanon to Syria.
In fact we
have documents and eyewitness accounts that Sterling had smuggled advanced
spying devices into Syria and handed them to local spy Qusay Khamis. We also
have many eyewitness accounts that Sterling handed large sums of money to
Khamis during his visits to Syria 2014 and 2015. And we are aware that these evidences
and eyewitnesses were communicated to Syrian security agencies, which led to
banning both Sterling and Larudee from entry to Syria.
Now
regardless of the real reasons why Syrian security agencies banned the duo, we
have very legitimate question to ask here: how could people who are banned from
entry to Syria for activities against Syria National Security lead an
organisation claim to work in support of Syria and to expose the reality of
what is happening there in the last 7 years?
The other
legitimate question we all need to ask the Syrian authorities: why members of
organisation led by spies banned from entry to Syria are still able to enter
Syria, smuggle money and spying devices and recruit sleeping cells?
We have
legitimate information that these spies who enter Syria on decisive moments are
communicating with foreign spies cornered in besieged areas.
We will not
try to answer any of these questions. The whole issue is clear evidence about
the seriousness of the infiltration this cell made in Syria.
The
seriousness are very clear in the ability of this cell members to enter Syria,
smuggle sensitive devices and large sums of money, recruiting sleeping cells
and collect sensitive information. The cell’s members are still able to meet
important state figures. Not only this. One of the cell’s members who is former
NATO pilot and deeply in love with Israel as his Instagram account states
managed to
get residency in Syria and established charity as front shop for his spying
activities (despite the fact that it is very difficult to register a charity in
Syria these days)
Why
registered charity? We do not need to mention that large section of Syrian
society had fell under poverty line because of the 7-years crisis. And you can
imagine what a charity with millions of dollars’ budget can do to recruit
sleeping cells and collect sensitive information.
